Our vision is to inspire a world where everybody has a sense of belonging and feels empowered, because their uniqueness is respected and valued.
The JCI Europe Diversity and Inclusion Committee implements actions and tools to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion within JCI Europe, thus creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all JCI members. The purpose of the JCI Europe Diversity & Inclusion Committee is to create a safe and inclusive space within JCI Europe.

How We Got Started
The JCi Europe Diversity & Inclusion Committee is the continuation of the JCI Europe Equality & Diversity Taskforce, launched in 2019 by Svava Arnardóttir of JCI Iceland.
Where We Are Now
In two years, the Equality and Diversity Taskforce launched several initiatives within JCI Europe. In concrete terms, the workgroup has created a guide to improve inclusivity in our events and initiatives, implemented an anti-harrassment policy for JCI Europe, and launched a 12-month empowerment program with online webinars on different subjects related to equality, diversity, empowerment, and social change.
In 2021, the new committee will continue these efforts and begin new initiatives. It is led by Jennifer Polzin of JCI Cologne (Germany), as 2021 Chairperson, accompanied by 15 members of various national organizations within JCI Europe. The team meets once per month to review their various projects.
