New Work Movement Workshop
In these special times, where some of us are still struggling, do we even have the space to address issues such as “sense-making”, “co-determination”, “community” and “freedom” and the New Work movement in general ? Nele Kreyssig, entrepreneur and author says: Yes, now more than ever! In order not to lose ourselves and the connection to others, to our employees, teams, leaders and to the people in our JCI regions, we can and should do something. Something for each other, with each other, for our business and for our JCI activities. There is a method, called Working Out Loud (WOL), that allows you to experience how modern collaboration, networking and learning can look and feel like.
In this keynote (incl. interactive session) you will learn why and what we can learn from the New Work movement right now. And you will get to know the method Working Out Loud (incl. trying it out yourself).
Nele Kreyssig, certified WOL Coach, says “WOL has changed my life as an entrepreneur and as a human being in a way, that I completely underestimated how powerful, effective and trustworthy voluntary (!) learning in a small group and network can be.”
WOL in a nutshell: In a WOL circle, self-selected individual goals, for which there are no content specifications, are achieved with the help of a network. This is not built by simply “networking”, but is created through a careful investment in relationships, including proactive “giving” (without expecting anything in return), appreciative communication at eye level, and making one’s own contributions to internal and external networks. This builds trust and creates a digital network consisting of real relationships! Want to learn more? Be part of it!
BONUS: You are the first to know about a unique surprise, we prepared for the JCI members!

Creative Young Entrepreneur Competition (CYE)
2021 JCI President Ryubun Kojima and 2021 JCI Vice President Pheng Kouch, secured substantial cash prizes for winners of the Creative Young Entrepreneur (CYE) program at the four Area Conferences and at the World Congress!
The four first place winners in the Creative Young Entrepreneur (CYE) Area Conference program will now receive a $5,000 USD prize! This prize is thanks to the kind support of 2021 JCI President Ryubun Kojima who, in the ever-prevalent spirit of collaboration, has graciously donated $20,000 USD to further the development of enterprising young leaders around the world.
The first-place participants from each of the Area Conferences will be able to take this $5,000 prize and improve their businesses even more – however all of the CYE contestants will be able to take tangible gains from the competition! Second-place CYE winners will receive a free ticket to a 2022 Area Conference. The top 3 candidates from each Area Conference will be invited to pitch at the World Congress for the title of Global Creative Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
We are also happy to announce that this Global Creative Young Entrepreneur of the Year will win at the JCI World Congress a Global Grand Prize of $10,000 USD, thanks to the generous support of 2021 JCI Vice President Pheng Kouch who has pledged this amount for the next three years. He will therefore be donating a total of $30,000 USD in prize money over 2021, 2022 and 2023 in order to ensure the sustainability of CYE as a global JCI project, providing long-term support to the spirit of entrepreneurship and the JCI RISE initiative. Second-place CYE winners will receive a free ticket to the 2022 World Congress.
All participants who register for CYE at the 2021 Area Conferences will receive complementary training and mentoring valued at thousands of dollars. This training, delivered by jury members who are top entrepreneurs and investors, is for everyone who pays the $50 application fee, providing a huge return on investment that will supercharge the future earning potential of your business.
In addition to this exciting new amendment, and with the continued goal of providing the opportunity to as many young entrepreneurs as possible, several other key changes have been made to expand the admission rules of the CYE program.

JCI International Opportunities
One year to lead is a wonderful opportunity to hone your leadership skills, to experience cooperation in international and global teams, to witness firsthand how a global leadership organisation is run, how policies are made, training is conducted and planned, how global strategies are implemented on local levels and much more, you do not have to be just an observer you can be the driving force behind the change you want to see in JCI as well as the world we all live in.
Goal
To clarify the structure of JCI, present development opportunities within various JCI committees, task forces as well as the EDC and BOD. Further to look at “job descriptions” of these positions and to answer any questions people considering furthering their JCI experience onto international or global level might have.
