JCI Europe Unofficial Online Debating Championship

Since the CoVID-19 pandemic has prevented the members of JCI Europe from meeting in person for the European Conference in Dublin this year, also the Debating Championships will not be taking place in its usual form.

As the JCI way is to transform challenges into new opportunities and the skill set that the art of debating provides is primordial to develop leaders for a changing world, cancellation of the event simply isn’t an option.

So for the first time the (unofficial) European Debating Championship will be held online!

  • When: Saturday, June 20 starting at 11am (CET)
  • Where: we will share the debats live in JCI Europe members Facebook group
  • Who: every member of JCI Europe can take part, but maximum are 8 teams per language
  • Languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish (if there are enough teams and judges)

Note: The registered teams for the European Conference in Dublin will be prioritised but need to register again to confirm their interest in participation.
The winning teams will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.

Please register until June 11 as Debater or Judge!

Some technical conditions for the participants:
