There is nothing wrong with wanting more. It just means you have outgrown the level you are at. Looking at the enormous change JCI has gone through in the past 1+ year during the coronavirus pandemic, it has shown our willingness to embrace a new direction. Even though we are experiencing both financial challenges and some also a membership decline.  

What if we started looking at today’s circumstances as the perfect opportunity to want more? When you say you have nothing to lose, it means you do not see failure as a defeat. Take no harm from being unsuccessful. Simply see it as an honest and sometimes brutal part of the growth process. In the end success will always find you.

Growth and Development has to be something new, different, a change of some sort. It stands out, we think outside the box. Get creative. Growth and Development is never the same as what you have now. If you are comfortable or happy the way things are, the value of Growth and Development work might be as low as 0%. 

The time is here for you to follow your passion. Start doing things that make you happy. Be brave. Find your voice.

The Online Growth and Development Academy will deliver 4 modules on 4 Thursdays in September and one networking session.

The modules are all made to teach a Growth mindset. If we want transformation, leaders must learn how to transform themselves to define the future growth of our organisation, their businesses or their own lives.  

If an organization truly wants their leaders to have growth mindsets, we must give leaders and our members room to grow as individuals. Provide them opportunities to influence the organizations’ future.

Modules delivered in the OGDA, based on the cycle of a growth mindset:

1. Identity: Connecting to yourself, your needs and wants. Who am I as a person or an organization? Wanting more. Chasing meaning not comfort. Finding your personal road. Creating positivity. Vision. Momentum.
2. Roadblocks: How do I move forward? What would it take to achieve this goal? Locating potential roadblocks. How do I remove them? Changing our mindsets. Challenging perspectives. Taking responsibility. Keeping faith. Believing in ourselves. Being brave.
3. Growth: I am here now. Ready to begin. Asking for help. Finding resources and partners. Testing, experimenting. Trying different solutions. Visibility. Vulnerability. Bringing in good things. Watching your vision become real. Trust.
4. Development: We have created something now. Time to evaluate, look into the future and reconnect to our vision. Lifting people up. Creating a culture. Upgrading. Updating. Giving up control. New people stepping up. New cycles. New journeys. New generation. 

Bring the future into the present, then you can do something about it now.

Participation fee: €10 for all 4 Modules + Networking + G&D toolkit

All JCI members are welcome to sign up. You do not need to be in a specific role. Great if you have taken the JCI Discover training.

All sessions will be held from 7 pm – 9 pm CEST.

We encourage participants that can attend all modules, with an understanding that life can create some obstacles. All the sessions will be recorded and posted on the platform.
